Configuring SSM for an EC2 Instance

This document will provide detailed instructions and a step-by-step process to configure your EC2 instances appropriately to have a functioning Systems Manager (SSM) agent. To enable SSM, you must configure a custom IAM Role and include the requisite AWS Permissions Policies in order for the SSM agent to function properly.
